About Us

Oregon Business Development Corporation is a non-profit SBA Certified Development Company (CDC) established in 1983 as an SBA 504 lender. Our office is in Redmond, and we also have a representative in Portland. We provide business owners throughout Oregon with long-term fixed rate financing for real estate and equipment through the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program.

Our mission is to help small business owners get the financing they need to start or expand their business. Customer service is our focus and helping business owners is our objective. Our SBA 504 loan program is available throughout the state of Oregon.

Oregon Business Development Corporation is managed by a 16-member Board of Directors, comprised of community volunteers who care about the role played by small business owners in today’s economy. Our Board includes representatives from banks, small businesses, and community groups. Our Board of Directors and staff follow these core values:

We have a contract with the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC), so our CDC can provide economic development loan programs in addition to the SBA 504 program. COIC has offices throughout Central and South-Central Oregon, providing job search assistance, employer services, economic development programs, alternative education, and other community services throughout the area. Our contract with COIC for administrative support also provides our CDC with efficiencies of scale and up-to-the-minute technological resources.
